PBIS at SHHS
PBIS is a proactive approach to school-wide discipline. This initiative is meant to reinforce the positive behaviors of students doing what is expected of them, as well as supporting students who need extra assistance to reach the school-wide expectations of Scholarship, Ownership, Achievement and Respect. In essence, we are consistently defining, teaching, reinforcing, and monitoring positive behaviors.
At Snow Hill High School, students are recognized for exhibiting one of the school wide expectations in an outstanding manner with a Positive Referral. This referral is addressed by administration and mailed to the home address of the student. These referrals are used for admittance to the monthly incentive events that are held at SHHS. Additional positive behavioral incentives are conducted as a student body as well.
