Students of Snow Hill High School!
Snow Hill native William Julius “Judy” Johnson was considered to be one of the best third basemen of all time and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975.
In order to celebrate the life and achievements of Snow Hill native “Judy” Johnson there is going to be a memorial placed on the grounds of the Snow Hill Library. To join with the NAACP and the Worcester County Historical Society in this celebration we are running a Bulletin Board Contest here at SHHS.
Your challenge is to design a bulletin board that shows the life and accomplishments of Judy Johnson.
The winning submission will actually be created and displayed in the main hallway of SHHS, and additional prizes will be given to the winning team or individual.
All students can enter as individuals or in groups of no more than 4.
The submission will be done in a PowerPoint slide show that has the first slide showing the overall layout of the bulletin board, and additional slides that have the graphics, pictures, and information that will be on the board.
Check with Mr. Brahosky or Mrs. Tignor for some resources to get you started!
The PowerPoint needs to shared in Office 365 with Mrs. Tignor, Mr. Brahosky, and Mr. Shumate.
Submissions are due by Friday March 8
