APPLY FOR DRIVERS EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
Academy 100 will be awarding FIVE $200 scholarships and Drive on Time (our new partner) will be awarding ONE $200 scholarship to help offset the cost of the course. Participants will be responsible for the cost of the course, which is $300 (scholarship winners will only be responsible for $100). Participants in the course will complete all book work here at the school and then driving lessons will be scheduled following the last whole group class.
The guidelines for the scholarship are as follows. 1) Essay should be a minimum of 500 words explaining the risks of distracted driving. 2) The essay must contain some statistics and preventative measures. 3) The essay needs to be submitted as soon as possible. The 6 scholarships will go to the first submissions that successfully explain the risks, preventative measures, and include statistics in their 500 word essay. All recipients of the scholarship will receive a letter confirming. Once all scholarships have been awarded, announcements will be made.
