Information about
High School Assessments (HSAs)
The HSA are tests that all students must take as they complete the appropriate high school level courses. These courses are English, Government, Biology, and Algebra/Data Analysis. Although these are considered high school tests, middle school students also take the tests if they are enrolled in high school level courses, such as Algebra I.

It is important to remember that all students are required to pass the High School Assessments. Those students who did not achieve a passing score (and have not met their HSA graduation requirements) need to attend an intervention program for that particular content area. He or she will be scheduled to re-test during future test administrations.
